Michigan Nonprofit Research Program
The Michigan Nonprofit Research Program is a program of the Michigan
Nonprofit Association and the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy
and Nonprofit Leadership at Grand Valley State University. MNRP funds
high-quality research and disseminates the results through publications
and convenings that increase the understanding of the Michigan nonprofit
sector. In its years of operation, the program has awarded over
$700,000 in support of over 30 research projects to improve the
efficiency and effectiveness of Michigan nonprofits and to inform public
policy related to the Michigan nonprofit sector.
