Management Job Opportunities - Neighborhood Service Organization has the following management job opportunities available:

Director of Older Adult Services: This is a management position which entails managerial and financial components. A minimum of four years human services experience is required. Five or more years' managerial experience, experience in a Managed Care environment, knowledge of research methodology and statistics, and experience in contract management implementation preferred. PhD or MA/MS or MSW or MBA or MPA. Certification and/or licensure in appropriate discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, Management, or Public Administration) required.

Program Manager (Tumaini Center): The Program Manager provides onsite administrative and clinical support to the team. This position provides social work services and assessments to consumers in the program, and coordinate treatment with outside providers when consumer is being treated by other providers. MA/MSW, minimum of 3 years supervisory and clinical experience in the mental health or substance abuse field and with homelessness.

Assistant Unit Director: This is a clinical and administrative position. Candidate must be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) + 5 years clinical experience. Must have 2 years supervisory experience. Experience with Developmentally Disabled population preferred.

Executive Director - Marriage Matters Jackson

Organization Overview: Marriage Matters Jackson (MMJ) is organized to prepare, promote and preserve healthy marriage by providing enrichment and educational events, workshops and programs for single, engaged and married residents of Jackson, Michigan and surrounding communities. MMJ has been in operation since 2006 as a community initiative and is currently in the process of a funded transition to an independent, self-sustainable nonprofit.

Position Description: This is a new, full time staff position that will report to the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for the leadership of Marriage Matters Jackson through strong partnership with the Board, the MMJ staff, and community, religious and business leaders. This includes managing the staff, budget, fundraising and programs, as well as implementing the organization’s vision & strategic plan, developing and implementing an effective organizational structure, and leading the organization through the currently funded transition to a new nonprofit by the summer of 2010.
