ConnectMichigan Alliance Endowment

A helping hand, a listening ear; an hour in a busy week. You see it when a college student engages in community building, when a child helps clean up a river; when a senior citizen reads to a hospice patient. often, the most difficult part of getting involved is knowing where to go to get started. The answer to that question is easy - Michigan Nonprofit Association with the support of the ConnectMichigan Alliance Endowment. It's where volunteerism comes together. Working as one, we can improve the quality of life for our citizens as never before. The power of positive change is in each of us.

The mission of the ConnectMichigan Alliance Endowmnet is to promote and strengthen a life-long ethic of service and civic engagement through the support of community-building initiatives. We are thankful to the 227 organizations and individuals who established the ConnectMichigan Alliance, a permanent support organization for volunteerism in Michigan though the creation of a public/private endowment. As good stewards of the endowment, our board and staff work tirelessly to use our precious financial and human resources responsibly and innovatively, with a balanced blend of vision and practicality.

As the ConnectMichigan Alliance endowment provides a limited level of stability, our state’s needs continue to mount. Local nonprofit and community-based organizations who rely on volunteers to function seek training, resources and networking which are valuable to creating a vibrant and strong nonprofit sector. We invite others to become financial contributors to the long-term health of Michigan’s volunteer community by supporting the ConnectMichigan Alliance.
