Workshops
Michigan Nonprofit SuperConference 2005 features
more than 45 workshops designed to fit the diverse
needs of conference participants. Workshops are
designated in tracks to help attendees identify
appropriate workshops.
Exhibitors
The exhibit area provides an opportunity for
SuperConference participants to learn about new
products and services available, as well as to explore
the services of a variety of local and statewide
organizations. If your company/organization would
like to reserve exhibit space, please contact Mary
Estrada at 517/492-2443 or mestrada@connectmichiganalliance.org.
Bookstore
Visit the conference bookstore to review and
purchase publications on issues relevant to the
nonprofit and philanthropic sector. Selected speakers’ books and other items of interest will be available.
Speakers will be available to autograph their
books. MNA members are eligible for a discount.
Cyber Café
Visit the Cyber Café (located in the exhibit hall) to
check your e-mail, check out demonstration copies
of selected software and explore the vast array of
web-based resources available to the nonprofit
sector.
Door Prizes
Visit each conference exhibit and collect signatures/
stamps from staffed exhibits. Drop off your completed
exhibit card by noon on Wednesday to enter
in our Door Prize Drawing! It’s that easy! Take
advantage of the opportunity to win exciting prizes
while learning about a wide variety of services
available to help your organization excel. Door prizes
will be announced during the closing
plenary.
Networking Reception
Create new connections and renew old friendships.
Join fellow conference participants and friends for a
networking reception on Tuesday afternoon, June
14th. Enjoy this opportunity to talk with each other
and visit the conference exhibits. Complimentary
snacks and cash bar.
Service Project
Join other SuperConference attendees in a brief
service project on June 13. Vista Maria is a private,
not-for-profit, residential and community based
treatment agency that provides education, therapy,
spiritual support, shelter and care to young women
and their families who are struggling to cope with
numerous challenges, including histories of abuse,
neglect, and other traumas. Volunteers will help the
girls of Vista Maria through interior painting and
landscaping (weather permitting). Carpools leave the
Hyatt Regency at 1:00 p.m. and return by 4:00 p.m.

Governor’s Service Awards/Carter Awards Dinner
This year the Governor’s Service Awards dinner is
combined with the Carter Awards dinner on
Saturday, June 18 at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn.

Dine-Arounds
Dine-arounds are opportunities for conference
participants with similar interests to share a meal and
a conversation. Sign up for a Monday or Tuesday
dinner dine-around near the conference registration
area.
