Welcome

On behalf of the Michigan Nonprofit Association Board of Trustees, Nonprofit SuperConference 2007 Planning Committee, and our many partners in this endeavor, we offer you a warm “Welcome to Michigan’s Premier Nonprofit Conference!”

We are thrilled to offer Michigan’s nonprofit community such a diverse array of plenary sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.  We frequently hear that this is a “must” for nonprofit leaders of all positions, whether a volunteer, board member, program staff, or executive.  Our volunteer planning committee works to ensure we have a well-rounded agenda, meeting the needs of a vast audience with one common purpose:  improving life in the communities where we live, work and learn. 

Our conference theme this year, Surviving and Thriving through Seasons of Change, was carefully selected to acknowledge the evolving role and expectation of our sector, and to celebrate the tenacity of individuals and organizations in getting the work done.  This intimate gathering of 800 of our “closest friends” will allow time for learning, networking, thoughtful debate and celebration.  You will return to your work reinvigorated, armed with new knowledge and new tools.
