The Michigan Giving & Volunteering Celebration is an annual event that attracts over 100 volunteers, philanthropists, and elected officials from across the state in a celebration of the many ways in which Michigan volunteers and philanthropists are making a difference in their communities. Highlights of the program will include great volunteer stories, the latest giving and volunteering statistics for the state, and a presentation of the 2009 Michigan Volunteer Champion Awards. Boxed lunches will be provided at the conclusion of the program.
