Position Description (include how to apply):

Reporting to the Finance Director responsibilities include, but not limited to; assist with payables and payroll as needed, comply with nonprofit policies and procedures, assist in annual budget preparation, prepares and processes monthly billing, maintain general ledger accounts, processes journal entries to ensure general ledger accuracy, assists in monthly financial statement preparation, files quarterly 941's and unemployment returns, assists with year-end closings and annual audit. Must be computer proficient, prompt and regular attendance required. Excellent problem solving and sound judgement, demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Must be able to multi-task, work flexible hours and work with the elder population. Should have knowledge of accounting software; payroll systems; spreadsheet software and word processing software.

Bachelor's degree or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Willing to accept college students working towards college degree. EOE. Job Type: Full-time. Please send resumes to: bbell@hillsdaleseniors.org
