Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-range strategic plan and short-term objectives of the agency
  • Cultivate a strong BOD willing to lead and contribute to the success of the organization
  • Attract, retain, develop and leverage staff talent
  • Develop plans that maximize the financial strength of the agency without adversely affecting other criteria of success
  • Pro-actively ensure that the org develops strong long-term relationships with individuals, foundations, corporations, non-profits and volunteers
  • Ensures that comprehensive marketing strategies are developed to attract, engage and mobilize volunteer mentors
  • Represent the agency at regional events, community tables, partnership events and with the media
  • Lead staff in developing and maintaining innovative programs and fund development to enable an increase in the number of children served in the region
