The HR and Amin Manager at Kids Food Basket will provide leadership and supervision to staff, oversee the daily workflow as well as all HR policies and procedures.  This position will maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulation, and recommend best practices, review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

This Manager will partner with the Leadership Team to execute HR and talent strategies assessing current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.  They will also be responsible for the inclusive hiring process and well and following and communicating trends in compensation and benefits.

One of the first few projects of this position will be to complete the implementation of the newly acquired HRIS system and to partner with Hospitality and the Administrative Assistant to complete a technology infrastructure transition.

Job requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience with SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired; Bachelors's degree in Human Resources; proficient in HRIS and Microsoft office suite. Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution skills required.  Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations is required as well as a basic understanding of hunger and poverty issues in West Michigan.
