Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the frontline liaison with our project partner sites (15-20 disaster resilience hubs across Detroit) and lead our efforts to support their community outreach and events
- Design and facilitate meetings with project partners for relationship building, peer learning, energy education, etc.
- Support the planning and implementation of community events at our partner sites (energy and resource fairs, education events, celebrations, and more)
- Represent Michigan IPL in meetings with partners
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience working with or coordinating a network desired
- Strong communication skills (written, oral)
- 2+ years of experience in nonprofit program work
- Demonstrated ability to center justice and equity in your analysis and work
- Strong computer skills and ability to grasp new software and virtual platforms (critical to our ability to collaborate remotely)
- Relevant language skills (especially Spanish, Arabic or other languages spoken in Detroit) are desirable

Location:
- While our day to day work is primarily remote, you must live in the metro Detroit area and attend in-person meetings and events several times a month.
- Some travel within and beyond Michigan may be required.
