Applications are open for the MI Nonprofit Relief Fund, a $32.5 million grant program to support small nonprofits with less than $1 million in annual revenue that incurred demonstrable expenses or losses after March 3, 2021, due to the pandemic. The MI Nonprofit Relief Fund is being administered by Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA) and Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO).

Nonprofits that did not fill out the intent to apply can still apply for grant funding. The intent to apply was simply a tool to gauge need and interest statewide.

Each eligible application will be reviewed by nonprofit and community leaders from the applicant's region. Applications will be scored based upon demonstrated need, narrative, and supporting documentation. Grant awards will be disbursed by July 2023.
