Heritage Hall at the State Capitol

On Thursday, February 22, 2024 we will meet in-person at Heritage Hall from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The dress code for the in-person event at Heritage Hall at the Capitol is Business Attire.

State Capitol's Directions & Parking Information

Attention: Heritage Hall at the State Capitol Security Protocol 

Please be advised that upon arrival, you will be required to pass through a metal detector and undergo security screening. You may be required to present a valid form of identification. 

All Day Parking Information

All day parking is available at Michigan Library and Historical Center located at: 702 W Kalamazoo St, Lansing, MI 48915. Visitor parking is located south of the building, with a $5 daily rate on weekdays.


The entrance for the parking is located off Kalamazoo Street (RED ARROW ABOVE)

Follow the red line and park in the lot (SHOWN IN YELLOW)

Parking fees are paid at the entry/exit gate by credit card only.


It is an 11 Minute Walk or 0.5 Miles to Heritage Hall

Metered parking for cars, trucks, and vans is located on the streets surrounding the Capitol. Various meters allow between one and four hours of parking. The city uses the Passport Parking feature, please visit the following website for more information. https://www.lansingmi.gov/383/How-to-Park

Health & Safety Guidelines

MNA continues to prioritize the well-being of members, staff, partners, and communities. To ensure the health and safety of all attendees at our in-person events, we have implemented the following procedures:

  • We recommend that all attendees undergo a COVID-19 test within 48 hours before the event.
  • Attendees who are feeling unwell, have tested positive for an illness within the 10 days leading up to the event, or are displaying symptoms and awaiting test results are kindly requested not to attend.
  • If you are unable to attend due to illness or any other reason, registrants have the option to modify or transfer their registration if necessary. To modify your registration, please scroll to the bottom of your confirmation email and click on the provided link.
  • To facilitate comfortable in-person interactions, attendees will be provided with color-coded arm bands. These bands will indicate each attendee's level of comfort with personal interaction: 
  • Red (6-feet greeting)
  • Yellow (elbow greetings only)
  • Green (high-fives permitted)
