Donna Murray-Brown Named to Nonprofit Times Power & Influence Top 50 for 2018

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. -- Donna Murray-Brown has been selected as one of Nonprofit Times Power & Influence Top 50 for 2018. Murray-Brown is receiving the honor for her work as a top executive and strategist who has demonstrated significant impact in addressing the nonprofit sector’s critical needs in Michigan.

Murray-Brown, a native of Detroit, has a diverse background that includes both corporate and nonprofit leadership. Since becoming president & CEO of Michigan Nonprofit Association in 2013, she has strengthened the organization’s mission and elevated its position in the sector. This award celebrates and recognizes the impact an executive has made during the previous 12 months in their respective fields. A committee of Nonprofit Times staff, contributors, and leaders involved with the executive movement were involved in the rigorous selection process.

Ms. Murray-Brown was selected for making leadership and inclusion look easy. It isn’t. Because of
her keen judgment, Murray-Brown is a “go-to” person for many leaders in the broader nonprofit community, much of it behind the scenes and confidentially. She’s wired-in and universally respected.
