Civic and Community Engagement
Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET
The Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA) has a longstanding commitment to engaging members in civic life through education, tools, and resources. The 2026 midterm election is a critical moment with significant state and federal implications for Michiganders. Nonprofits are uniquely positioned to ensure all voices are heard, combining nonpartisan civic engagement with trusted community relationships.
Michigan Nonprofit Association is partnering with Wave Michigan to offer a civic engagement program designed specifically for nonprofits like yours — organizations whose primary work is not elections, but who understand that the decisions made by local elected officials affect the communities you serve every single day.
This is a nonpartisan program. We are not asking anyone to support a party, a candidate, or an ideology. We are asking a simpler question: do the people in your community know who makes decisions about their schools, their streets, and their safety — and do they vote in those races?
