How an organization is providing support through accessible mental health services.
Journey to Healing is a Detroit-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families navigating grief, loss, and life’s most challenging transitions. Rooted in a trauma-informed approach, the organization provides accessible mental health services including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), youth programming, and holistic wellness support. Through its innovative Trauma-Informed Community Building Model, Journey to Healing works to foster resilience, strengthen families, and reduce mental health stigma—creating safer, more connected communities across Michigan. Data is essential to their work, so the MNA Tech Team visited the organization to upgrade its equipment—delivering faster internet along with new computers, tablets and modern technology to better support their mission.
