Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual giving campaigns, appeals and events.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and college staff to secure financial support for scholarships, program funds and other initiatives.
- Strategizes with the Director to implement the yearly creation of the annual giving program and special events’ goals, including timelines and implementation.
- Collaborate with the Director to establish and manage fundraising policies and processes across the institution.
- Provides oversight and reporting of all annual giving programs, including events and communications strategies.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in annual giving, fund development, and college advancement to enhance fundraising strategies and outcomes.
- Manage a prospect portfolio relating to the Foundation’s moves management plan in donor database and solicit individual gifts. Ensure accuracy of data in portfolio.
- Monitor and manage fund balances, distributions of endowment funds and with Financial Aid, awarding of private scholarships to facilitate donor communications.
- Manages fund development process by working one-on-one with donors, Financial Aid, and other college departments to create, maintain, and promote scholarships.
- Collaborates with other managers in the department to develop and implement the moves management process, including identifying major and planned gift prospects.
- Collaborate with other college departments, including institutional communications and marketing, to align fundraising strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned and as changing conditions require.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum of four years related experience in fundraising, annual giving and events (or related roles), preferably within the nonprofit sector or college advancement
