Administrative Assistant, Governmental Affairs

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Director of Governmental Affairs and the Governmental Affairs Specialists in planning, coordination and execution of public policy initiatives
  • Manages scheduling for the Director of Governmental Affairs and the Governmental Affairs Specialists
  • Coordinates scheduling and record-keeping for MAC policy committees
  • Coordinates constituent relations by organizing inquiries from member counties
  • Provides research assistance to the Director of Governmental Affairs and the Governmental Affairs Specialists
  • Coordinates mailings and fundraising events for MAC’s Political Action Committee
  • Serves as back-up to Executive Assistant on front desk duties in MAC’s Lansing offices
