Contract Mental Health Therapist

Child and Family Charities is seeking dedicated contractual therapists to join our team on an hourly 1099 basis.

 We welcome candidates with either a limited or full license in social work or professional counseling who are passionate about providing high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

  • Flexible scheduling is available between 8:30 am and 8:00 pm to best meet client needs.
  • $35/hr for limited license and $40/hr for full license
  • In house clinical licensing supervision, and all insurance paneling and billing will be managed by the agency so you can focus on your clinical work.
  • Candidates must carry their own liability insurance.

 Responsibilities

  • Provides direct mental health therapy (individual, and/or group/family), education, referrals, and service coordination.
  • Utilizes trauma informed, motivational enhancement and cognitive behavioral models of therapy.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation within required timeframes
  • Maintains positive and professional relationships with individuals and organizations involved with the target population.
  • Maintains strict privacy and confidentiality practices in accordance with federal and state regulations, and consistent with ethical standards in the field.
  • Participate in individual clinical supervision, clinical team meetings, and ongoing professional training activities.
  • Familiar with electronic medical record systems or ability to develop proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work or professional counseling
  • Limited License or Full Licensure desired. We will provide supervision for licensure.
  • Minimum one year of applicable experience in assessment and therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults.
  • Experience providing manual based therapy and addressing trauma a plus.
