Reporting to the Director of Programs, our Program Team is responsible for:
- Ensuring program delivery and curriculum execution
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with students, families, educators, and program site staff
- Attending program team and partnership meetings as needed
- Establishing a rapport with partner organizations, school staff, families, and community
- Ensuring efficient data management; collecting and tracking data, recordkeeping
- Clear, respectful, and timely communication with all key stakeholders
- Participating in special events and health-driven workshops as needed
- Attending required trainings on food safety, youth development, and curriculum content
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry and Baking, Nutrition, Education, or Public Health preferred
- ServSafe certification required (upon hire)
- 3-7 years youth program supervisory experience; direct contact with youth
- Secondary education teaching certification and experience a plus
- Experience working in a professional kitchen is desired
- Strong leadership, oral and written communication skills, patience and the ability to mentor students
- Must have reliable personal transportation (programming takes place at various school site locations)
- Must demonstrate teaching ability - prepare to show competence through demonstration
- Background check is required
