Perform routine database maintenance, data quality audits, and record cleanup projects to support accurate fundraising reporting.
Research and resolve data discrepancies, duplicate records, and incomplete information to maintain database integrity.
Run standard database queries, reports, and mailing lists to support fundraising, stewardship, and donor communications.
Process charitable contributions, including cash, check, credit card, ACH, and online gifts, in a timely and accurate manner.
Create, organize, maintain, and archive electronic and physical donor files, ensuring documentation is complete and accessible.
Monitor incoming gifts and research donor-advised funds, workplace giving, and third-party portal transactions to identify gift sources and donors.
Assist with gift reconciliations by comparing database records with financial reports and supporting documentation.
Conduct constituent research and update demographic, employment, and relationship information as needed.
Assist with data imports, exports, and batch processing activities while adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
Document database procedures and assist with training staff on data entry standards and best practices.
Serve as a backup resource for incoming donor calls, providing professional and timely assistance with donation-related questions and concerns.
DONOR SUPPORT
Enter, update, and maintain donor, gift, and constituent records in the fundraising database, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to data standards.
Support donor stewardship activities by ensuring accurate donor attribution, recognition, and contact information.
Provide backup support by assisting with incoming donor calls and responding to donation-related questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
OTHER
Crosstrain with other members of the Donor Relations team to ensure consistent coverage of essential gift processing and donor relations functions.
