Michigan State University’s College of Arts & Letters is seeking an Assistant Director of Development to join a collaborative advancement team during an exciting time for the college and university. As part of MSU’s $4B comprehensive campaign, this role will help advance the college’s ambitious $55M goal in support of priorities such as experiential learning, career development, interdisciplinary research, creative practice, and public engagement. The Assistant Director will manage a portfolio of approximately 70 major gift prospects, focusing on individuals with philanthropic capacity of $50,000 or more. This position will build meaningful relationships with alumni and donors, conduct strategic visits, move prospects through the gift cycle, and help connect donor passion with the powerful impact of the arts and humanities.This is a strong opportunity for a fundraising professional who enjoys relationship building, travel, collaboration, and making a visible impact within a mission-driven university environment.
