On Friday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said the Senate would consider a narrowly crafted fourth and final COVID relief package in about a month.
Reports are that this bill will focus on jobs and schools, and it will include liability protections. He also reaffirmed his opposition to extending the enhanced unemployment benefits included in the CARES Act. The only proposal McConnell explicitly endorsed for inclusion was a plan to provide narrowly crafted COVID liability protections for businesses, individuals, nonprofits, and schools through 2024.
