Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA) and the Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF) will host a Civic and Community Engagement Summit in Detroit, Michigan. This gathering comes at a time when civil society is under increased scrutiny, with threats to civic engagement, increased polarization, and mounting risks to democratic norms creating real fears—especially among vulnerable communities. The summit will provide space for nonprofit and philanthropic leaders to reflect on the threats to civic engagement and action while exploring the opportunities we share to shape a collective future where all can thrive
The summit will offer a platform for those dedicated to civic engagement to collaborate, foster supportive relationships, and exchange valuable insights.
