The Food Systems Partnership Manager will support Michigan Good Food Fund’s (MGFF) outreach and engagement efforts by cultivating relationships that play a strategic role in strengthening MGFF’s pipeline by cultivating relationships across Michigan’s food and farm economy and building connections with mission-aligned businesses, organizations, and ecosystem partners that may benefit from or contribute to MGFF’s financing, technical assistance, entrepreneur support programming and ecosystem initiatives.
This role will support MGFF’s broader healthy food financing mission by proactively identifying, cultivating, and advancing opportunities for local food systems that align with Fair Food Network and MGFF Healthy Food Initiative priorities.
The Food Systems Partnership Manager will serve as a relationship-driven food ecosystem and pipeline development manager that works closely with the Director of MGFF, the MGFF Investment Manager, MGFF lending partners, and broader ecosystem stakeholders. This position is focused on relationship building and management and will not function in the roles of lender, underwriter or technical assistance provider. Fair Food Network is headquartered in Detroit.
This position is Michigan-based with a preference for West Michigan. The Food Systems Partnership Manager will report to the Michigan Good Food Fund Director, Shakir Bralock.
