Fund Development Manager

  • Working with the CEO, to develop and execute a comprehensive fund development plan with measurable goals, that will increase philanthropic support.   
  • Lead all fundraising initiatives (individuals, major gifts, planned giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, special events, i.e.). 
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit and maintain relationships with donors, community partners, and sponsors. Manage donor communication, stewardship, and recognition.  
  • Expand and develop new prospects that grows database. 
  • Develop and maintain active grant writing, monitoring and reporting. Research, write, budget, and submit grant proposals and reports to foundations, corporations, and government agencies. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring financial goals and community engagement objectives are met. Includes third party events . 
  • Manage and utilize donor database to ensure accurate record keeping, giving history, generate reports, and support targeted outreach. 
  • Collaborate with the communications team to create strategic communications plan. Oversee all fundraising materials, social media content, email campaigns and press materials or internal and external audience. 
  • Prepare and present fundraising progress reports to the CEO and Board of Directors. 
  • Act as a community liaison attending community events and developing partnerships with community organizations. 
  • Stay informed of fundraising trends and best practices in the nonprofit sector. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity among staff to enhance engagement with organizational fundraising efforts
